BioPortUSA chosen by French start-up to help with Commercialization

BOYDSense, is French start-up based out of Toulouse, and is focusing its attention on how to better manage diabetes. They have developed an innovative technology that uses a breathalyzer to enable a person to measure their blood glucose level by simply breathing into their device for five seconds. With their technology there is no longer a need for finger sticks. 

BioPortUSA was recently hired to help with their commercialization process. The first step was to help assist with the development of a regulatory pathway which would tell us how to proceed with pursuing FDA clearance. Over the coming months we will not only look to support their regulatory efforts but we will also assist with reimbursement as well as sales and marketing. “This is an amazing breakthrough for diabetic patients to measure their blood glucose level. No longer do people need to anguish about the daily fingerstick, stated Mark Lesselroth CEO of BioPortUSA. 

While the focus is on diabetes today, the underlying technology has the possibility of screening for other diseases including cancer.
